I started using Visual Studio Code as main IDE for Go development (yes, it has great #golang support!) but I couldn't stand its awful icon. So I decided to change it with a custom gopher icon.

Here's how: 1. Download https://goo.gl/tO8v9B (gopher.png file) 2. Open it in Preview app and hit ⌘C to copy the image 3. Open Applications folder in Finder, find Visual Studio Code (/Applications/Visual Studio Code.app) and right click it to Get Info 4. Once the Info window pops up, click the small icon in the top-left corner and hit ⌘V 6. To see the changes right away, make sure to close Visual Studo Code and run these two commands in Terminal to restart Dock and Finder: $ killall Finder; killall Dock

Enjoy!
